Spartanburg Jazz Ensemble Member Information

Schedule and Directions for September 26th Gig

Band must be set up by 6 PM

Band eats from 6-7

Band plays from 7-8

Band plays 9:30-10:30

 

You are welcome to attend the air show beginning at 4 pm.

Reminder to band: We will be playing outdoors. Bring your plexiglass or clothes pins. Also bring stand lights. Dress is Khaki pants and white golf shirt. No shorts!

All band members will be listed on the guest list at the gate. This is a private affair and only those on the list will be admitted.

Admission for guests is $5.
 

Dinner for guests is $20. Only band members eat free.

Directions from Spartanburg:

Take 221 south and pass through downtown Woodruff. Stay on 221. The railroad tracks will be on your right. Follow the tracks all the way to Triple Tree.
A few miles out of Woodruff you'll see Brown's Market on the left side. Make the next RIGHT after Brown's Market. onto Mary Hannah Road
After you pass Brown's and just before you make that right across the tracks you'll see Antioch Baptist Church on the left.
Make that RIGHT on Mary Hannah Road and cross the tracks.
Triple Tree Aerodrome is about a 1/2 mile on the left
Follow the winding road down to the large airplane hanger
You can pull up to the concrete in front of the hanger to unload. Then you'll be instructed where to park

If you are coming from Greenville take Woodruff Road towards Woodruff. At the stop sign at RT 101 turn right towards Woodruff. Turn right at the light by Food Lion then follow the above directions.
